  • 'You're a Mean One' Cookie Decorating Class

    Thursday, December 11th @ 6:00pm

    Join Cookies by Nicole for a festive hands-on experience decorating a set of six holiday cookies inspired by everyone’s favorite green Christmas curmudgeon. You’ll learn professional royal icing techniques, tips for perfect piping and flooding, and how to create expressive, holiday-ready cookie designs that are almost too cute to eat!

  • Miles 4Those: Run, Film, & Fundraiser

    Saturday, December 20th @ 8:00am

    Join us for an incredibly meaningful day as Briggs Street Books & Music partners with 4Those for a special all-levels community run and 147 documentary screening in honor of Steph, whose son, Zev, was born prematurely and spent 147 days in the NICU. Inspired by her tradition of running 147 miles, we’ll come together to move with purpose, celebrate resilience, and honor NICU families everywhere.

  • Sip & Script: Ornament Calligraphy Class

    Sunday, December 21st @ 3:00pm

    Join Sip & ScriptⓇ for a festive workshop of holiday fun and pretty lettering for beginners! Whether you’re a stationery nerd, DIY Bride-to-be, or just a crafty individual, in this workshop you’ll be learning an introduction to modern calligraphy with a pointed dip pen and ink. We will cover all the basics and get you ready to add those special lettered details to all your holiday tables, Christmas trees, hostess gifts, gift tags, holiday card mailings and more!

The Swoon Society Book Club

Whether you're deep into the world of romantasy or just testing the waters,  is your place to gush, giggle, The Swoon Society and gather over all things love and fiction. Come for the books, stay for the community.

Running Book Club

Lace up and meet us at the shop — we’re hitting the trails and the pages Our Running Book Club is back! We'll kick off the morning with a super chill, all-paces-welcome group run through the beautiful streets + paths of Erie. Then it’s back to the shop for coffee, snacks, and a laid-back convo about the book of the month. Whether you run marathons or just jog when the spirit moves you, you belong here. Come as you are — all readers (and runners!) welcome.

Our Author Spotlight events give you the chance to meet the writers behind the stories you love. Join us for an intimate Q&A with featured authors, get your books signed, and hear the inspiration behind their work. You can bring your own copy or pick one up in-store during the event—and enjoy browsing while you’re here. It’s a great way to connect with the literary community and discover your next favorite read.
